Brent Hall, Director

Watching students redirect their lives toward more positive change drew me into working with youth. An additional reward came as I began to see that the changes affecting their lives also helped their families heal and grow together. This start in 1991 determined a new purpose and direction for me as I embarked on my own education. In 1995, I returned to college and I finished my Bachelors Degree (1997) and began working as a substance abuse counselor. In the spring of 2001, I completed my Master of Social Work from the University of Utah.

In my close associations with students and families, I have gained tremendous insights. I have found that as these students gained their education, acquired new social skills, and discovered the value of developing strong character traits, they gained confidence. They begin to flourish by using these newfound skills. And they conquer the problems of adolescence that were such a struggle for them.

It has always been my ambition and desire to start a school where these values and skills can turn lives around. I am delighted to be here at Red River Academy. My capable and dedicated staff and teachers are looking forward to working with your student and with you at this important time in their lives.
